Chemical Mix and Calendering

High-quality strontium ferrite powder is combined with synthetic rubber (CPE or NBR) and plasticizers. The mixture is heated and run through a series of large, heavy-duty rollers (calendering) to produce a continuous sheet of flexible magnetic material. The rollers produce a smooth, flat sheet of flexible magnetic material with strict dimensional tolerance.

Magnetization and Coating

There is no magnetic pull to the rubber sheet. The flat rubber sheet must be ran over a high-powered magnetizer to align the magnetic fields (multi-pole magnetization) on one side of the sheet. The non-magnetic side is then laminated with either a strong adhesive coating or a printable face stock (such as PVC, PET, or coated paper).

Cutting and Packaging

The completed laminate sheet is then fed into a rotary cutting machine to produce custom width jumbo rolls or individual sheet sizes (for example, A4 or A3). The finished products are then packaged in sturdy export cartons and palletized to prevent any damage to the edges of the product during international shipping.
