Polyimide sticker paper for purchase
As a leader in providing high-temperature labeling solutions to the electronics industry, vizlent provides its customers with customized polyimide sticker paper solutions for international printing companies, electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and distributors at extremely competitive wholesale pricing.
Manufactured from the highest quality polyimide films (recognized in the industry as equivalent to Kapton) and with premium Silicone or high performance Acrylic adhesives, vizlent’s polyimide labels are corrosion-resistant, chemically-resistant and durable in harsh thermal environments.
Polyimide stickers are often utilized in high-risk, high-heat areas of pcb wave soldering, reflow ovens, automotive engines and aerospace engineering.
Industrial & environmental applications of polyimide labels
Besides electronics, vizlent supplies heat-resistant sticker paper for heavy industry and automotive applications to support identifying parts in severe environmental conditions. Available as jumbo rolls or slit widths for flexo or digital label presses.

Resist heat from under-the-hood conditions along with engine oil, grease, hydraulic fluids without peeling or losing print legibility.

Are flame retardant and extremely durable at extremes temperatures fluctuations and vibrations associated with atmospheric exposure.

Engineered for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and energy storage systems to identify cell IDs while serving as dielectric barriers at extreme temperature levels.

Used for permanent heat proof identification for high-heat running transformers, industrial motors and heat sink components.
Customized polyimide label stock
Vizlent supports customization of polyimide label stocks in multiple web widths, lengths, material thicknesses and top coat colors.
Whether you are printing high density QR codes, automated assembly instructions or masking sensitive components our heat resistant label materials will enhance the efficiency and traceability of your smt lines.
In addition, vizlent can customize the strength of the adhesion — from strong bonding acrylics to easy peel silicones — to meet your specific production requirements.

Regulatory compliance of vizlent polyimide materials
All vizlent polyimide materials comply with all regulatory compliance requirements for use by electronics manufacturers in North America, Europe and Asia:
RoHS & REACH Directives:
Ensures the material does not contain hazardous heavy metals and restricted chemicals; providing safe usage for global consumer packaging products and manufacturing processes of electronics.
UL 969 Marking and Labeling Systems standards:
Ensures face stocks and adhesives do not delaminate, burn or lose legibility when exposed to specified high temperatures or indoor/outdoor environments.
Ipc acceptance standards for electronic assemblies (IPC-A-610):
Ensures labels do not bubble, char or contaminate solder during the assembly process.
Frequently asked questions about polyimide sticker paper
What is polyimide sticker paper?
Polyimide sticker paper is a type of high-temperature labeling solution used in many industrial settings. Made from polyimide polymer film similar to Kapton it is coated with a high-temperature adhesive typically Silicone-based. It is most commonly used to track electronic components through their manufacturing process involving high heat processes like wave soldering, reflow ovens etc…
At what temperature can polyimide labels resist?
High-quality polyimide labels can resist extreme temperatures up to 260°c (500°F); this is applicable to wave soldering machines that apply heat to components for approximately 10–20 seconds. However, continuous operation at temperatures around 150°c are acceptable.
What is the difference between PET and polyimide sticker paper?
PET (polyester) sticker paper is very resilient but melts or shrinks/deforms when subjected to heat above 150°c. Therefore, it cannot be used in high-heat manufacturing processes. Polyimide sticker paper has been engineered to maintain its physical properties at temperatures up to 260°c eliminating deformation/shrinkage issues common to polyester based materials.
Which type of printer should be used for printing polyimide sticker paper?
For successful barcode printing on polyimide label stock that will remain readable after subject to heat/chemical treatment, it is recommended that Thermal Transfer Printers utilizing specialized high-temperature resin ribbon cartridges be used.
Why is using polyimide labels important in pcb manufacturing
They provide essential traceability: with a scannable barcode throughout the entire assembly process (including ovens and chemical treatment) manufacturers can track origins of parts, dates of assembly and quality control metrics without risk of degradation of the barcode image.
